Where it started
Two states, one site, and pages that could not be edited.
Rainier GPR scans concrete in Washington and Florida. Its two money pages had thousands of impressions a month and sat on page four and five. AI search results had stopped citing the site. And the existing pages failed validation in the editor, so nothing could be changed safely in place.
On the first day we found a security problem on the live site and contained it before anything else. Tony also wanted the site on a server he owns, so the project included a move.
What went into it
The work, item by item.
A gated staging site, and a fix for a caching issue that had let cached pages slip past the password.
A full baseline of eighty-seven URLs, a protect list of pages that must not change, and four rounds of mockups that produced a colour system drawn from utility-marking standards.
Live and staging moved onto the client’s own cloud server, with a configuration that can never lock the live site behind the staging password.
Homepage, three service pages, twenty-six city pages built from one configuration, a page for the coming third office, three service-area hubs, and a projects hub with forty-three write-ups hosted on the site instead of a third-party gallery.
Headers and footers that change by state, so Washington and Florida visitors each see the right office and never the wrong one.
Structured data and a FAQ on every city page with real price ranges, and seventy-nine genuine Google reviews rotated through the pages.
A sticky call bar, a deep pre-launch audit with every high-priority finding fixed, and a rewrite pass that took machine-sounding phrasing out of more than a thousand sentences.
A separate offline-capable app for the field crew: end-of-job reports and hold-harmless forms built on a phone and emailed to the office as PDFs.
The result
Launched with every link and heading checked.
Before launch: all eighty-three internal links resolved, no missing image descriptions, no duplicate titles or headings across forty pages.
On launch day the contact form was confirmed delivering and the main service page was re-indexed within hours.
After the performance pass, mobile scores reached 93 on the Kissimmee page and 99 on the quote page.
Runs on: Native Kadence with a child theme, SEOPress, structured data, Gravity Forms, LiteSpeed caching, on the client’s own cloud server.
