Cyclone HVAC

HVAC repair, Forney and Dallas TX

Content refresh with the layout kept, then a homepage redesign. July to August 2026.

Where it started

The site was saying things the company does not do.

Cyclone HVAC was getting a handful of organic visits a month. The bigger problem was accuracy. Every page promised emergency, around-the-clock service the company does not offer. Five different phone numbers appeared across the site. Twenty-seven city pages were the same page with the town name swapped.

Mario asked us to keep the layout he liked and fix what the site said. Later he gave the go-ahead for a redesigned homepage built to convert.

What went into it

The work, item by item.

A locked staging copy, with a security sweep of both the live and staging installs before work began.

A baseline of all sixty-two pages, sixteen months of Search Console data, and a ten-competitor comparison.

A content architecture built around authority: the twenty-four pages that earn business were rebuilt in place, and the remaining city pages were deliberately left alone.

Every emergency and 24/7 claim removed, phone numbers consolidated to the tracking line, and real figures put where invented ones had been.

Forty-four real Google reviews placed across seventeen pages, and titles and descriptions rewritten on forty-eight.

Every rebuilt page validated in the editor so the owner can edit without anything breaking.

A content-only push into the live site, with a full backup taken first, followed by a post-launch check that included the mobile header dialling the right number.

A redesigned homepage with a sticky call bar on phones, and an eight-post knowledge blog.

The result

Fewer impressions, more clicks.

Comparing matching three-week windows before and after, clicks rose by about two-thirds and the click-through rate doubled. Impressions fell, as expected, because the site stopped chasing emergency searches it could not serve.

Average position improved by five places against the prior period and by twenty-five places year over year.

The site is not yet on page one for its core terms. That is the next phase, and we say so.

Runs on: Kadence with the existing child theme, Gravity Forms feeding the CRM, structured data, LiteSpeed caching.
